Joana Sardinha
My goal is to combine the professional practice of dentistry, with the formative practice. I want to help my patients have a Healthy Smile, and help my colleagues to offer the same.

Dr. Joana Sardinha began her academic career at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, University of Porto, completing her degree in 2003, where she received the Professor Machado Capelas award – awarded by Lab Med to the best student in the 4th year of the course of Dental Medicine; and the Engenheiro António Almeida award – awarded to the student with the best average in the 6th year; and earning a Master’s Degree in Oral Rehabilitation in 2007.
In 2012 she completed her Post-Graduation in Temporomandibular Dysfunction and Temporomandibular Joint, by San Sebastian, and in 2015 she finished her Post-Graduation in Advanced Biomimetic Oral Rehabilitation, by CESPU – Cooperativa de Ensino Superior Politécnico e Universitário.
Dr. Joana Sardinha’s main goal is to combine her dental practice with the training component, where she helps her fellow dentists to obtain the knowledge and career they aspire to. In 2010 she became a trainer of Anatomy and Physiology at the Business and Administration School, and in 2014 she became a lecturer at Fernando Pessoa University, teaching Prosthodontics, Physiology of the Stomatognathic System, Physiatry and Dental Occlusion. Early on he started with Scientific Publications in Specialty Journals, Posters and Scientific Communications in Dental Medicine Congresses and Conferences and became a member of SPDOF – Portuguese Society of Temporomandibular Dysfunction and Orofacial Pain.
